Building and transforming businesses for long term value

An entrepreneur's instinct sharpened across 20 years inside global corporations.

General Management P&L Ownership Digital & DTC Team Building

Jason spent two decades as a digital technology and commerce leader at global brands. At his final stop, he led global digital at Masimo — home to the Masimo health business and Sound United audio brands, including Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, and Marantz. Prior to that, he held executive roles at EastPoint Sports, Escalade Sports, and Haworth. Early in his career, Jason built and led direct-to-consumer technology and experience at Wolverine Worldwide, across 12 global footwear brands including Merrell, Saucony, and Sperry.

Across each role, Jason entered a situation where business value was uncaptured, then built the strategy, operating system, infrastructure, and team to capture it — ultimately leaving behind durable capability and business performance.

Jason has worked as a Fractional Chief Digital Officer, interim executive, and digital growth consultant for brands such as Turtle Fur, Eyemart Express, Hard Rock International, and Rifle Paper Co.

As both an independent consultant and agency founder, Jason parachuted into brands, assessed their unique situation, then developed and executed strategies to stand up demand engines, modernize infrastructure, and give leadership teams a clear operating model.

Jason's entrepreneurial experience taught him as much about building a business as running one. Today, through Baywood Ventures, Jason is actively pursuing opportunities to acquire, build, and lead high-potential businesses through ownership, operating partnerships, or executive leadership roles. He also selectively advises owners, boards, CEOs, investors, and teams navigating periods of growth and transformation.

The eCommerce Growth Gap

A practical operating framework for building a healthier, more profitable business through better leadership, organizational alignment, and disciplined execution.

Strategy & Financial Linkages Demand Generation Capability & Organization Infrastructure & Process Execution & Accountability

Drawn from twenty-five years in the operator's chair, The eCommerce Growth Gap uses eCommerce as the lens to explore a broader challenge facing modern businesses: what causes the gap between performance and potential, and how leadership teams build operating models that turn strategy into predictable growth and lasting enterprise value.

While written through the lens of digital commerce, the framework is fundamentally based on Jason's philosophy about leadership alignment, operating systems, and building disciplined organizations that compound enterprise value.

Published in 2026, it quickly reached #1 on Amazon in multiple categories.

"I've seen Jason close the Growth Gap more than once — different businesses, different teams, different challenges. This isn't luck. It's a repeatable approach."
